About the Author
Over the past decade, John Yunker has worked as both a buyer of translation services and as a translation agency. As a buyer of translation services, he learned firsthand the difficulties in obtaining accurate quotes and in comparing quotes between agencies. As a member of a translation agency, he helped clients save significantly on their projects while maintaining high quality throughout. In preparing this report John conducted interviews with dozens of translation agencies and clients.
John has produced and managed Web sites for a number of clients, across a number of languages, including Harvard University, H&R Block, and Victoria's Secret. He is widely quoted in publications such as The Boston Globe, The New York Times, Internet Retailer, and Multilingual Computing. He is author of the widely acclaimed book Beyond Borders: Web Globalization Strategies.
